The next time you are looking for ways to spend quality time with your family, head to the very family-friendly Singapore Sports Hub.
While many may know the iconic premises as a venue for world-class sporting events and competitions, as well as concerts, the Singapore Sports Hub also offers many programmes and facilities designed for families. Some of these are even free of charge.
This makes the Singapore Sports Hub a great destination for family-bonding time, especially at a time like now when having stronger family ties will help us face the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Singapore Sports Hub is happy to be part of the Made For Families campaign – a national initiative that aims to show that the community, businesses and government support Singaporeans as they start and raise families.
Having fun, and staying fit and active as a family has never been easier. Inspired? Here’s what you can do at the Singapore Sports Hub with your loved ones.

Reading materials here are categorised according to genres like Health & Fitness, Memoirs, and Training & Coaching, and aim to encourage sports professionals and just about anyone to embrace sports as part of their lifestyles. There are also other facilities like video viewing, virtual sports stations, Internet stations and a kids’ zone.

The latest additions to the Sports Hub Fitness Studio are the Sports Hub Tots & Kinder Play programmes, which use colourful, age-appropriate equipment to help your young ones hone their developmental skills. Classes are taught by coaches who specialise in sports and movement in early childhood.
Depending on your child’s age, there are five programmes. For instance, Fun2B1 is for tots aged 12 to 22 months, helping crawlers and early walkers to develop their motor skills. Like its name suggests, Early 2’s targets those who have turned two and teaches them to abide by a structured routine by following both simple and complex instructions. For older children aged four to five years, Dinkies will let them tackle advanced sports skills and build up confidence.
